Subject:        No DRM on my computer

Folks,

I
just want to let you know that I will not buy any computer that uses any
technique (DRM/TPM is the issue in question right now) that invades my privacy
or otherwise runs programs on my computer that I am not in control of.  Like
most computer-savvy people, I'm the one in charge of buying computers for my
friends and relatives, and have bought a number of computers lately.  I'm sure
someone will sell a computer that doesn't have this junk, and I'll be buying
it, along with an amazing number of other Americans. Remember the country we
live in and the values we stand for?
Remember what happened with the Pentium
III?  You know this will have exactly the same outcome.  Please don't make us
(and yourself) suffer first.
