- The FCC is concerned you might record something on your
VCR or Hard Drive. As a result, the FCC has anounced that all future
VCR's must carry a special chip to prevent you from recording anything
on TV. This is inspite of the fact that the federal Supreme Court had
expressly claim this as Fair Use in the Famous Sony Betamax case. See the text here.
