New Yorkers For Fair Use

We have some mailing lists set up to get the word out on actions that are needed and to assist with the on going efforts to maintain our rights. These are low volume lists most of the time, but the lists can become very active when immediate actions are being planned.

To subscirbe to these 2 lists send e-mail to nyfulists (at) nyfairuse.org with subscribe listname as the subject of the message.

  • fariuse-talk - General discussion of fair use and information freedom issues - traffic levels are variable

  • fairuse - Organizational matters
To subscribe to fairuse-announce send email to list-admin (at) nyfairuse.org with subscribe fairuse-announce in the subject and body of the message. This is not an automatic process and you will be subscribed when the list manager gets to it. Usually 24-48 hours.
  • fairuse-announce - This is a light traffic list that announcements about current "hot issues" that need action are sent to.

This is not an automatic subscribe. You will be added to the fairuse-announce when the list manager does an update. This is usually within 24 to 48 hours.
